MySQL and how PHP can use the data from a MySQL database is a vast subject. However, before you make full use of the potential you will need to learn more about HTML (especially more advanced forms) and PHP. Then you will be ready for the Intermediate tutorial on MySQL. Meanwhile you have enough to practice creating databases, filling them with data and displaying that data.
You should be able to come up with some simple but useful databases and PHP page interfaces. Do so!
