This page should work in many modern browsers even though the event in the BODY tag is not standard. It is the IE way of doing it and more recently other browsers have built it in.

Hit any keyboard key to see the scroll position of the page (it will probably be 0).

Edit the page to uncomment the alternative BODY tag (above) and comment out the current one.

Try that in any standards-compliant browser and it should work. In IE it fails (the result is undefined).

Incidentally if you want to see what the two values are for scroll this page down to the bottom and hit a key again.
